Atomic Habits by James Clear

Atomic Habits by James Clear

Ever wondered how habits form? And how to stop bad habits from taking over your life? This book will open your mind into understanding what habits are made up of, and why we do what we do.

Atomic Habits can be described as micro tasks that you do without thinking every day. The point being to change your life for the better, tiny steps at a time. This book gives a lot of food for thought when it comes to strategies that we should follow in order to become the person we want to be.

Reading Atomic Habits was an enjoyable experience because it very clearly explains a lot about human behaviour that makes sense, but you’ve probably never needed to consider before. There are so many ‘aha’ moments in the book where things just click. And if you find that you want to change something in your life regarding behaviour, this book gives so much insight and helpful methods that you’ll wish you’d read it sooner.

As a fan of self improvement books, I like to stay clear of any that are filled with ‘fluff’ and obvious statements that don’t really promise anything helpful to the readers. This book is not at all like that, there are clear and helpful tips to follow, you just have to make the plans, and then get on with it one step at a time!

This book will teach you about creating good habits, ending bad ones, improving productivity and becoming the person you want to be. A good read for anyone interested in actual self improvement.
